Rayna has devoted a lifetime to the study of horsemanship, including having completed a Colt Starting Apprenticeship with Craig Cameron of Bluff Dale, TX and studying through Level 3 Refinement with Pat Parelli. Rayna is currently studying with and is endorsed by Leslie Desmond co-author of "True Horsemanship Through Feel" with Bill Dorrance, applying and teaching her methods of working through release and feel. For the past 9 years, Rayna has been training, teaching, and hosting clinics in Bandera, TX and Eastern Tennessee. In addition she has had experience as a member of a precision drill team, working as a wrangler and trail guide at a prominent guest ranch and as the trainer at a Morgan horse breeding farm.
Rayna offers training for your young horse under saddle, restarting older horses, problem horses, and ground handling at any age. This includes weekly sessions with the horse and owner. She believes the best training program comes with patience, feel and understanding, not force and intimidation. Rayna also offers horsemanship lessons and clinics for all ages at her farm or at the student's location.
